Tough Mudder

Adam Fox • 16 August 2021

So, after a very early start on Saturday. We did it. 💪

I completed Tough Mudder number 11. 🙂

BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY, my daughter completed her first! 🥇

That is by far the biggest achievement and I remember the combination of nerves and excitement before my first all those years ago! 🥳

To say she did me proud is an understatement. One obstacle scared her to the point she skipped it the on her first 2 laps but after a little pep talk from both Mummy and Daddy, she didn’t want to leave having not at least attempted it. 👧

Guess what, she smashed it on the last lap! 😁

I don’t know where she gets her competitive streak from?!? 🤣

Not strictly business related but there is still a lesson in there for all of us! 👨‍🏫

Sometimes the fear of trying something new can hold us back. It could be the fear of failure or the fear of the unknown. But the sense of achievement and the difference it can make to our lives when we get on and do it can be huge. 🏆

What are you going to do this week that you have been avoiding that will move you personally or your business forwards? 🤔

Have an amazing week everyone! 👋
