Your Business Is Working.
The Problem Is It Still Needs You For Everything.
You've built something real.
Customers. Revenue. Staff. Responsibility.
But somewhere along the way, too much of the business became dependent upon you.
The important decisions come back to you.
The difficult problems come back to you.
The things nobody else knows how to handle come back to you.
And the more capable you've proved yourself to be, the more everyone has learned to rely on you.
Evolve helps established business owners reduce that dependency, build a better business and regain control of the life around it.
Being Capable Can Become a Trap
Most owners don't deliberately build businesses that depend upon them.
It happens gradually.
You solve something because it's quicker.
You take something back because someone gets it wrong.
You answer the call because you're the person most likely to know what to do.
You step in.
You fix it.
You move on.
And every successful intervention quietly teaches the business the same lesson:
When something really matters, give it to the owner.
Eventually you're running a business full of people while still carrying far too much of it yourself.
That's not a work ethic problem.
It's an operating problem.
And what got you here may not be what gets the business beyond you.
STRATEGY ALONE WON'T FIX OWNER DEPENDENCE
Growth plans matter.
Marketing matters.
Systems matter.
People matter.
Finance matters.
But none of them solves the deeper problem if every important decision still finds its way back to you.
Sometimes the business doesn't need another strategy.
The owner needs space to see the business differently.
To question assumptions.
To make decisions they've been avoiding.
To stop doing work someone else should own.
To build capability around them.
And sometimes to accept that the way they've always operated is now part of the constraint.
HOW I WORK (AND WHY IT’S DIFFERENT)
Coaching, Challenge and Practical Intervention
I don't believe business owners need someone sitting opposite them asking clever questions for an hour and then sending them away to figure everything out themselves.
Sometimes you need a coach.
Sometimes you need a mentor.
Sometimes you need somebody to challenge your thinking.
And sometimes you need someone experienced enough to look at the problem with you and say:
This is what I think you should do.
That's how Evolve works.
We deal with the business that's actually in front of us.
- The people problems.
- The cash problems.
- The decisions.
- The bottlenecks.
- The owner dependency.
- The opportunities you're too buried in delivery to see.
And the things you already know you need to deal with but keep pushing into next week.
Don’t Just Take My Word for It...
Adam has kept me focussed on the areas of my business that really matter"
Having worked with Adam over the last 2 years my business has gone from strength to strength.
Adam has helped me keep focussed on the areas of my business that I would otherwise have avoided to focus solely on my existing clients. In doing so Adam has ensured I have kept a consistent flow of new customers coming through the door so I have avoided fluctuations in my income.
Craig Ablett – Managing Director – Consulo Group
"I thoroughly recommend EBC coaching"
It came to a recent realisation that I had some fundamental ignorance and weaknesses concerning my business but I felt 'paralysed' due to feeling overwhelmed by the task.
Adams coaching style is relaxed, focused and holistic in nature, incorporating the importance of mindset and health which really resonated with me. He really helped clear the path and all of a sudden, the issues in my business didn't seem so difficult.
Daniel Beckitt – Managing Director – Boreas Healing
"Opened up our eyes to a whole new way of thinking"
Without Adam's support we know we would not reach this level of realisation or growth because he opened up our eyes to a whole new way of thinking and shifting the things that were holding us back from our true potential. For the first time we feel like we can actually make this happen as a result.
We love every session we have because Adam is passionate about what we do and really wants to help us make a difference.
Lee & Lorraine Lewis – Co Founders – The Lewis Foundation
I don’t sell coaching. I sell business owners the ability to finally take control, grow, and get their lives back.
THE SHIFT
01
See What Is Actually Happening
Get out of reaction mode long enough to understand where your time goes, where decisions accumulate and what is genuinely restricting the business.
02
Decide What Still Belongs To You
Not everything that you can do is work that you should still be doing.
We separate the work that genuinely needs the owner from the work the business simply became accustomed to giving you.
03
Build Capability Around You
Better people.
Clearer accountability.
Better systems.
Stronger decisions.
Less dependence upon the owner as the automatic answer to every problem.
04
Regain Control
More time to think.
More capacity to lead.
More ability to choose what deserves your attention.
And a business that supports your life rather than gradually consuming more of it.
WHAT THIS CAN LEAD TO
This isn't about doing less because you've lost ambition.
It's about building something better.
A business that:
Doesn't rely upon you for every decision
Develops stronger people around you
Has clearer systems and accountability
Gives you time to think strategically
Can grow without simply increasing your workload
Allows you to switch off without wondering what has gone wrong
Creates success without requiring your permanent availability
The objective isn't escape from your business.
It's choice.
Why Adam?
I've Been The Person Everything Came Back To
Before Evolve, I spent years being rewarded for being the person who could fix things.
The difficult client.
The operational problem.
The member of staff who needed managing.
The job that had gone wrong.
The decision nobody else wanted to make.
Eventually that capability became permanent availability.
Work followed me home.
The phone stayed beside the bed.
Problems occupied my head long after the working day ended.
And what looked from the outside like career success increasingly felt like losing control of my own life.
That experience eventually led me to build businesses differently, create The DROP System and begin writing about time, attention, work and agency.
Today I'm the author of five books and work directly with business owners facing different versions of the same problem.
Not because every business should operate like mine.
But because I've learned that there is nearly always a better question than: How do I work harder?
WHO EVOLVE IS FOR
Evolve is designed for established business owners who:
- Have already built something valuable
- Are still too involved in day-to-day delivery
- Carry too many decisions personally
- Have people around them but still feel responsible for everything
- Struggle to find uninterrupted time to think
- Know something needs to change but are too close to the business to see it clearly
- Want growth without simply creating more pressure
- Are prepared to take responsibility for changing how they operate
WHO THIS IS NOT FOR
Evolve probably isn't right for you if:
- You're looking for a motivational session
- You want somebody else to take responsibility for your business
- You want quick tactics without changing anything underneath them
- Every problem is always somebody else's fault
- You want agreement rather than challenge
I won't run your business for you.
But I will help you see it more clearly, challenge what isn't working and make better decisions about what happens next.

“Why I’m Not Your Typical Business Coach (And Why That Matters)”
Build A Business That Doesn't Need All Of You, All Of The Time
You don't need to know exactly what needs fixing before we speak.
That's part of the work.
If your business is fundamentally sound but has become too dependent upon you, let's talk about where that dependency exists, what it's costing and what needs to change.
