Goals or Wishes........
A goal without a plan on how to achieve it, is just a wish. π
And, unless you have a magic lamp, it's unlikely your wishes will come true….. π§βοΈ π§
If you don’t set goals, you will become stuck in the weeds , busy doing the day to day π€― and not working on the things that will move your business forwards. π
If you want to progress, you need to set goals and you need a written plan on how you will achieve them. π
There isn’t a single athlete in Tokyo right now, who got there without the goal of making it to the Olympics and a training plan to help them get there. π΅βοΈ π΄βοΈ πβοΈ π€½βοΈ π₯ β³οΈ π€ΈβοΈ
Furthermore, they had a coach, who held them to account and ensured that they executed their plan in order to fulfil their goals. π£
Now every athlete will be aiming for Gold, π₯It’s what sets them apart from the rest of us.
But not all will achieve Gold. It’s impossible and things can go wrong along the way. π₯π₯
But to be in the game, they accepted this possibility, and will give it their all regardless.
It’s the same in business. π¨πΌπΌ
With a goal, a plan and a coach, you will at least put yourself in the competition and be among the champions of the business world. π
Sure you might not win, but you’ll still be a success in every sense of the word. π
There’s a quote by Norman Vincent Peale:
‘Shoot for the moon π, and even if you miss, you’ll land amongst the stars βοΈ’
It’s a quote that reminds me that life is not about perfection.
But it is about:
Trying,
Growing,
and persevering with the things that matter. π¨π©π§π§
