The fixed “Yeah, I know” mindset makes it impossible to coach them.  

For a coach, there is nothing more frustrating than a client who thinks they already know everything. It renders my job impossible and prevents the business owner from making any progress let alone a return on their investment. 

I also don’t want to work with business owners that think I am going to step into their business and fix everything for them. 

Coaching is designed to give you the tools to fix your business yourself, thereby expanding your knowledge on both a personal level and a professional level. By giving you the tools to fix it yourself, a business coach ensures you can sustain the growth long after your coaching relationship has ended (If that’s what you chose to do).

It’s like the old proverb goes: “If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime.”
